Powys County Council used RSPAWIR funding to deploy legionella sensors throughout County Hall in Llandrindod and across three satellite offices around the county. These sensors monitor hot and cold water outlet temperatures, log flow events, and generate temperature alerts.
The project makes use of the significant investment of funding and effort by the Welsh Government to deploy a nationwide LoRaWAN network throughout Wales. Furthermore, Powys County Council have also developed their own corporate IoT dashboard to display the Legionella Risk data alongside a range of other operational management data.
